I'm excited to once again volunteer my time to teach the real estate buying process with potential home buyers hosted by The City of Bloomington Housing and Neighborhood Development department. HAND has a wonderful program that covers the buying process, budgeting, insurance, and everything that goes along with home ownership.
In addition to learning a lot during the home buyer course, HAND also provides wonderful incentives for lower-income buyers who purchase inside the city limits. We currently have two wonderful homes that are move-in ready for lower income buyers having attended the home buyer course.

I would highly recommend the first time home buyers course to anyone in Bloomington looking to purchase their first home. It's been a little over 1 1/2 years since taking the course and it has proved to be a valuable asset in helping me find my dream home. The City of Bloomington offers an education that is vital to maintaining your home, how to find the right home, and all of the detailed steps involved in purchasing your first home.
